South African students can now apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year.
The South African Department of Higher Education and Training is the designated nominating agency for this scholarship, which offers South African citizens a chance to pursue their studies in China. The final selection of candidates and their placement at Chinese institutions will be managed by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), based on nominations received from South Africa.
